EG4 battery

The LifePower4 is the default first rack battery in this hobby and the 100 amp charge limit is the number that shapes a build. Two of them will not absorb what an 18KPV can deliver. The comms port speaks several protocols selected by dip switch, and the switch position matters more than the cable, which is where most first-time closed-loop attempts go wrong.

How many you need, by inverter

One pack accepts 100 amps. An inverter that can deliver more than that needs more than one, or the charge rate capped in settings. Both are valid, and the second one costs you charging speed on the short days when you need it most.
